Columbus Alzheimer Care Center provides skilled nursing residential care services to families in Columbus , Ohio and surrounding communities. Columbus Alzheimer Center is a Medicare Medicaid certified skilled nursing facility providing the highest levels of care and comfort to those afflicted with Alzheimer's disease and other dementia disorders. Our specially trained professional staff is dedicated to preserving the dignity and the quality of life of all whose care has been entrusted to us.

As one of Ohio 's earliest facilities to be solely dedicated to Alzheimer's care, we provide a supportive environment and specialized services. Our skilled nursing Alzheimer's care facility has been specially configured to meet the needs of our residents. Special care has been taken to provide a physical setting that is conducive to the unique care requirements of those with Alzheimer's. Specialty lighting, textures, walking areas and security precautions have been provided for. Residents are free to participate in any number of daily activities planned by our social workers and activities staff. Families are invited and encouraged to visit as often as they like, taking meals with their loved ones, joining in daily activities or simply interacting with their family member. Because we know that Alzheimer's disease affects the family as profoundly as the afflicted individual, we hold weekly Alzheimer's support group meetings for family members and other members of the local community.
